Approve Agreement for Technical Services with Langford Consulting, LLC, for Lawson Post-Production Support of Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll (Information and Technology)

On April 19, 2005, August 23, 2005, and again on November 8, 2005, the School Board approved a technical services agreement with Langford Consulting, LLC, to assist with programming, testing, data conversion, and report development activities for the implementation of Lawson Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll which extended the agreement for Lawson post-"go live" support through January 27, 2006. This agreement will extend Langford Consulting, LLC's services until June 30, 2006. His services are still required due to the complexity of Lawson Human Resources and Payroll, the issues and lessons learned since "go live" on July 5, 2005, along with the training and transfer of knowledge to District Staff.

Goal 2.b.6: Implement a system-wide paperless procedure for notification of new hires to the program area supervisory staff, certification office, and staff development.

The cost for this technical service shall not exceed $101,200.00 payable at the rate of $110.00 per billable hour. Funding is from the District's technology budget, project 5002.
