This project is being planned by the engineering firm of A.J. Sanchez Consulting Engineers. The scope of work provides for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) replacement. The project was advertised and a single bid received. (See Attachment A) The only bidder, Air Mechanical & Service Corporation, is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for October 13, 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

Total funds in the amount of $1,739,300 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $1,739,300 (Base Bid of $1,890,000 and deductive alternates 2,3,4,7, and 8 in the amount of $150,700.) (See Attachment B)
