EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Robert J. Hugenschmidt, P.E. The scope of work provides for track renovation. The Stewart Middle School track is jointly used by Stewart Middle School and Blake High School. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Alto Construction Company, Inc., is recommended. The total cost is less than the low bid as a result of value engineering discussions with the low bidder.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.7 - Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $378,086.72 are allocated from the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill budget.
