MONROE MIDDLE SCHOOL
EXTERIOR AND SELECTED INTERIOR PAINTING AND WATERPROOFING
AWARD OF CONTRACT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Carruthers & Associates, Architects, P.A. The scope of work provides for complete exterior painting and waterproofing, painting of all lockers, and painting of selected interior areas. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Riviero Painting, is recommended.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Critical Success Factor 6.a.7 - Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Total funds in the amount of $200,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $152,500.
