SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the engineering firm of John J. McKenna Architect P.A. The scope of work provides for painting and scupper repair. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). In light of the need to accomplish painting during the vacant summer period, award of the painting scope to the single qualified bidder, Olympic Painting Contracting, Inc., is recommended. The bid price on a per square foot basis compares favorably with other low bids for painting from projects with multiple bidders.
