EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
An Agreement for Technical Services has been developed for John Michael Saltzgaver to set up the language laboratory and telecommunications laboratory during the period May 29, 2006, through July 21, 2006. The implementation of the laboratories will help provide technology to all students regardless of socioeconomic status. The labs will provide international internet-based collaborative projects using the super high-speed internet connectivity that is necessary for global communication. This connectivity will allow the school to meet the following goals outlined in the Magnet School Assistance Program Grant (1) students will develop appropriate reading and math skills; (2) students will use telecommunications to learn with citizens of the world; (3) students will learn language to communicate with citizens of the world; (4) students will participate in an advanced course of study that will prepare them for college and post-graduate studies. As outlined in the grant the school will be dedicated to providing students from diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds with a high quality education program they will need for college and successful careers.
