EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The utilization of non-school site properties provides training opportunities for individuals with special needs. Collaboration by the School District with these training partners includes annual evaluation of the programs toward ensuring that each trainee can live and work independently in the community. Technical training is provided to up to 257 adults with disabilities. Training in job readiness skills, employability skills, life skills, job preparation, on-the-job training, and hands-on technical training is provided in Family and Consumer Sciences, Marketing, and Industrial Education programs.
During the 2005/2006 school year, 248 students have been enrolled and have completed or on target to complete the program by June 2006.
