Approval of Summer Staffing Proposal for Elementary Schools.

There are approximately 60 elementary schools with no summer programs and, therefore, no clerical coverage during the summer. Last year the School Board approved the hiring of clerical employees at the elementary school level for a period of ten days. This program was very successful, and the district reported to the Board the positive comments from the principals. This year we are asking again to provide the same 10-day clerical coverage for these 60 elementary schools in need.
