EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects. On March 12, 2002, the Board appointed the construction management firm of HC Beck, Ltd. The scope of work includes replacement of several classroom buildings as well as the administration, food service, and gymnasium facilities. It also provides for life safety improvements to the security, sound/intercom, and telephone systems and the spot replacement of plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

After the original construction was completed, an existing underground water line ruptured, flooding the new gymnasium and damaging the gymnasium floor. This change order provides for water line relocation and isolation and replacement of wood floor in gymnasium with identical floor system, including all finishes, artwork and striping.
