EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Long & Associates, Inc. The scope of work provides for the replacement of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) components, including the condensing units and air handlers. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The only bidder, Tappouni Mechanical Services, Inc., is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for July 26, 2006.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Critical Success Factor 6.a.7 - Provide school facility maintenance that allows for uninterrupted student learning (proper electricity, A/C, etc.) as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $360,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $360,000 (Base Bid of $411,000 less cost of negotiated scope revisions).
