Approve Consultant Agreement with Laura Brown-Lue to Assist with the Evaluation of the Comprehensive School Reform Grant, Project 1034 (Information and Technology Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The consultant will assist with the evaluation of the Comprehensive School Reform (CSR) grant. The implementation of duties outlined in the grant for the project will include technical support by gathering mainframe and online student data, inputting district-developed survey to online system, matching Whole School Effectiveness (WSE) survey results to parent CSR results and summarizing results of all technical data collected. Data to be gathered for the second year of the program grant.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

District Goal 5: The District will eliminate the FCAT achievement gap by a minimum of 10 percentage points as reported by the No Child Left Behind. Critical Success Factor 5c: Design and implement program scheduling to meet the mediation and enrichment needs of students.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The expense of $7,000 is funded from Comprehensive School Reform grant funds.

EVALUATION

The final report for the evaluation of the Comprehensive School Reform grant will be submitted at the end of the project year in June 2007.
