EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
New Medical Device Manufacturing Program, Aparicio-Levy Technical Center - $185,000 - Create a new program for Medical Device Manufacturing to produce skilled workers for the fabrication of specialized medical equipment and bio-medical equipment repair technologies. Funding will be used to purchase equipment.Expand Medical Laboratory Technician Program, Erwin Technical Center - $248,150 - Expand existing Medical Laboratory Technician program to offer the clinical training component on site at Erwin. This grant will enable Erwin’s MLT program to increase its enrollment and upgrade technology by purchasing automated equipment that meet industry standards.
Expand Electroneurodiagnostic Technician Program, Erwin Technical Center - $243,000 - Expand existing Electroneurodiagnostic Technician program for increased enrollment and upgraded technology equipment.
