SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Technical Services Agreement with Tod Schneider to Provide Training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) - $5,500 (Administration Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As Part of the Emergency Response and Crisis Management (ERCM) Grant received by the Hillsborough County Public Schools in October 2005, funds were allocated to have an outside consultant train 84 district employees in CPTED. Mr. Schneider will train three teams, each consisting of four members, for each area in the District. This training will enable the District to conduct Vulnerability Assessments of our schools in conjunction with Hillsborough County Public Schools’ Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP). This is retro because the technical agreement was not submitted in a timely manner.
