On April 4, 2006, the Board approved the appointment of Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects for architectural services. The scope of renovation includes new exterior stucco and graphics, exterior windows, stage, signage, library shelving, classroom partitions, carpet, vinyl composition tile (VCT), acoustical ceiling tiles, and upgraded telephone, intercom, security, data, and fire alarm systems.

Approval of the schematic design phase will allow the architect to proceed with design development documents. Project completion is scheduled for December 2007.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

The project is currently funded at $3,200,000. The estimate of probable cost is $3,046,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Community Investment Tax.
