APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - $2,120,931.04 CREDIT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On June 15, 2004, the Board approved the appointment of The Architectural Practice, Inc. for architectural services. On May 16, 2006, the Board awarded the contract for construction management services to Ellis Construction Company. The scope of work provides for a new 720 student station elementary school.

This change order provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District.

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2004C, Classrooms for Kids 2005, and School Infrastructure Thrift Award (SIT)
