Chamberlain High School has a recognized culinary program. Outback Restaurant and other suppliers/vendors have expressed interest in assisting with materials, services and donations to improve the teaching facilities at Chamberlain High School.

Approval of expenditure to The Architectural Practice, Inc. will allow for preparation of construction documents to determine final construction costs and project feasibility. This firm has been selected to participate in this project based on their culinary expertise and past experience with culinary arts facilities. JBD Construction will provide construction manager services under their continuing services contract.

Total fee for The Architectural Practice, Inc. is $32,000. JBD Construction has prepared a preliminary cost estimate of $192,352 to perform this work. This estimate is subject to the final construction documents and clarification of supplier/vendor assistance with materials and funding. Funding will be derived from 2 Mill and matching funds.
