EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In addition, the district is submitting 14 applications for $10,000 each to serve as mentors to other school districts as they develop career academies. The career academies that will serve as mentors are:
A chart of the grant mentors and mentees is attached.
If approved, funding will support Career Academy program advancement toward Model Academy status (based on National Career Academy Standards) at our district sites through staff training, curriculum development, equipment purchases, and will defray costs incurred by mentee and mentor site visits and other activities.
