EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Gottfried and Garcia Architects, AIA, PA. On March 12, 2002, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Ellis Construction Company. The scope of work includes new mechanical systems in most buildings, replacement of failing site sanitary and water piping, new site power distribution to accommodate the mechanical system upgrades, a new intercom system, correction of code deficiencies in the fire alarm system, re-roofing of buildings 35, 39, 40 and 44, resurfacing of the parking lots, additional lighting at the parking lots, new floor finishes, casework, instructional aids, paint, signage, doors and hardware, and ceiling tiles in selected areas, replacement of the sound systems at the baseball and football fields, and additional data drops.
This change order provides for replacement of the existing undergound electrical feeders and the addition of grounding conductors to correct electrical code violations discovered during the course of construction.
