EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Proposals for construction management services were accepted on September 22, 2006. A Public Announcement was issued and a tabulation made of the firms that responded to the legal advertisement. The Professional Services Selection Committee convened the week of October 2 to review submittals and develop a short-list. Prospective providers were evaluated in accordance with the "Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act," "State Requirements for Education Facilities," and School Board policy. On October 13, the Committee reviewed the short-listed applicants using a rubric and authorized staff to proceed with fee negotiations with the top-ranked firm. Negotiations are now complete and Board approval is required for formal appointment of the following firm:

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The project budget is $48,980,520. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2007 and 2008.
