NEW FACILITY
APPROVAL OF DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Harvard Jolly, Inc. On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed the construction management firm of HCBeck, Ltd. This new facility will relieve overcrowding at Cypress Creek Elementary School.

Approval of the design development phase will allow the architect to proceed with construction documents. Project completion is scheduled for July 14, 2008.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 6 - All schools in the district will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The project is currently funded at $12,924,999. The estimate of probable cost is $12,924,999. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series (CoPS) 06 and High Growth District Capital Outlay Assistance Grant.
