EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

During the last 28 years, the Hillsborough County Public Schools has participated in the annual multi-agency Mass Casualty Drill. The purpose of this drill is to test the response capabilities of the county’s emergency and medical resources. In previous years, the School District provided school buses and student volunteers to be involved in mock emergencies such as tornadoes, fires, explosions, radioactive hazardous spills, and chemical spills. This year, Gaither High School students and staff will be involved in a mock terrorist attack on Raymond James Stadium during an event. The drill will involve local and federal personnel and agencies along with our students and staff members from Gaither High School.
