EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the engineering firm of John J. McKenna Architect P.A. On June 6, 2006, the Board appointed the firm of Commercial Interiors, Inc. for project completion. The scope of work provided for drainage correction and waterproofing, and repair of areas damaged by previous water intrusion.
Change Order No. 1 provides for extension of the waterproofing membrane over the lower sections of the wall found below the areas shown on the contract documents. Change Order No. 2 provides for filling air conditioning lines on three equipment pads. Change Order No. 3 provides for modification of existing piping from the air conditioning condenser to provide a more waterproof condition where the piping enters the building. A time extension is included for completion of the work. Change Order No. 4 provides for removal and repair of caulking on four windows. A time extension is included for additional analysis to provide a more complete waterproof solution.
The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
