EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Charter school legislation, 1002.33, F.S., permits individuals, organizations and community members the opportunity to submit an application to the School Board for the creation of a charter school. On October 18, 2006, the School Board approved the application for Shiloh Elementary Charter School.
Shiloh Elementary Charter School will be located at 905 W. Terrace Drive, Plant City, 33563. The school will serve students in grades K-5. The curricular focus will be primarily centered on traditional elementary curricula, with an emphasis on visual arts and science.
A copy of the proposed five-year contract for the school is attached. The original charter application will be included as Appendix I, and the school’s academic goals and objectives are found in Appendix II. In the event there is a discrepancy between the contract and the charter application, the terms of the contract will prevail. Shiloh Charter Schools, Inc. has agreed to all terms of the contract, which has been revised to include the most recent revisions to 1002.33,F.S.
