SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Agreement to Reimburse Parents for Transportation of Child by Private Vehicles for 2006/2007 School Year.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Individual Education Plan (IEP) Team has recommended the District reimburse the parent to transport their children to and from school as per the provisions of Chapter 6A-3.017(11b), State Board of Education Administrative Rules. Attached is a summary submitted for approval.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funds have been allocated in the Transportation Department’s budget (9780;101;7800.391.610.6680) for reimbursement of the parent. The reimbursement will be based on two round trips at the rate of $.37 per mile each day this student is in attendance at school for the period of August 3, 2006 through May 24, 2007.
