On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. and Mathews Construction to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities will provide a new walkway canopy and fire sprinkler system, reconfiguration of driveways and visitor parking, interior and exterior painting, and replacement of roof, plumbing fixtures, exterior doors, low voltage systems, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

Approval of the design development phase will allow the architect to proceed with construction documents. Project completion is scheduled for July 2008.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

The project is currently funded at $3,450,000. The estimate of probable cost is $3,437,529. This item is included in the Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction 06-07 and Community Investment Tax (CIT) 06.
