Evaluation of the 2006 Dr. Kevin McCarthy Accomplished Teaching Academy (Curriculum and Instruction Division - Elementary Education)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The 2006 Dr. Kevin McCarthy Accomplished Teaching Academy was held on June 5-9, 2006, at Chamberlain High School.

The evaluation report and samples of an elementary, middle, and high school Action Plan Review are attached.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 1 - The percentage of students scoring at Level 3 or higher on FCAT reading will increase a minimum of 5 percentage points.
Goal 4 - The percentage of students achieving a score of 4.0 or higher on FCAT Writing will increase a minimum of 5 percentage points.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The evaluation report is provided as part of the regular duties of staff members in the departments of Elementary Education and Assessment and Accountability.
