SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

APPOINTMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FIRMS ON A CONTINUING CONTRACT BASIS

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Proposals for architectural and construction management services were accepted on October 20, 2006. Attached, for your information, are copies of the Public Announcement (Attachment "A") and a tabulation of the firms that responded to the legal advertisement (Attachment "B"). The Professional Services Selection Committee (Attachment "C") convened the week of November 27 to review submittals using standard evaluation criteria (Attachment "D"). Prospective providers were evaluated in accordance with the "Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act," "State Requirements for Education Facilities," and School Board Policy. Board approval of the firms listed in Attachment "E" is required for formal appointment.

All of the firms that responded to the legal advertisement were awarded contracts.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Funding for each project will be established prior to authorization.
