This project was planned by the architectural firm of Wilder Architecture, Inc. On January 13, 2004, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Allstate Construction, Inc. The scope of work provides for renovations to the original building to include replacement of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), instructional television (ITV), security, and fire protection systems, flooring, ceilings, doors, hardware, and stained glass windows, reinstallation of windows and lighting to match the original in appearance, asbestos abatement, insulation of the attic and crawlspaces, repair of gutters and downspouts, renovations to the kitchen servery area, and the addition of data, intercom, fire alarm, and security systems for the classroom portables.

This change order provides services to wet glaze the exterior side of the auditorium window frames and reseal the spaces between the terracotta tracery and window frames. This work was not in the original scope of work and will provide for a better product.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Community Investment Tax, Capital Outlay and Debt Service, and 2 Mill.
