EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the engineering firm of Hahn Engineering, Inc. On April 5, 2005, the Board appointed the firm of Air Mechanical & Service Corp. for project completion. The scope of work provided for the renovation of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
Change Order No. 1 provides for temporary chiller rental to maintain space cooling and additional work as required by Tampa Electric Company (TECO). A time extension is included for the TECO service delay as a result of hurricanes and unavailability of new power distribution equipment. Change Order No. 2 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.
The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
