HVAC, CANOPY, AND PAINTING RENOVATIONS
AWARD OF CONTRACT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Reliable Group Architects. The scope of work provides for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, canopy repair, and painting. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Cason Construction Management, Inc., is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for October 1, 2007.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Total funds in the amount of $682,622 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance. The contract amount being awarded is $682,622.
