Approve Agreements for Technical Services for General Educational Development (GED) Practitioners Task Force Project, $6,000 Total (Curriculum and Instruction Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On July 11, 2006, the School Board approved the project for the General Educational Development (GED) Practitioner Task Force for Hillsborough District to lead the state in the updating and revision of GED curriculum frameworks and related materials. The district has contracted with these providers previously for various components of the grant initiatives and the services of these providers will ensure compliance with the requirements of the grant. Individual Agreements for Technical Services have been developed for project team leaders for project deliverables as follows:

  • Project Deliverable 1.3 Technical Assistance Paper, revise content and submit final draft

Funds of $6,000 are included in the GED Practitioners Task Force grant, Project 1139.

EVALUATION

December 2007. Performance evaluation measures required of the grant are determined by the Florida Department of Education. The annual state performance report will be completed in December 2007 and shared with stakeholders.
