Report of April 18, 2007, Quarterly Review Meeting with Hewlett Packard and Hillsborough County Public Schools

The committee met at Aparico-Levy Technical Center on April 18, 2007, to review hardware, software, pricing, small business enterprise (SBE) activity, value adds, and to plan for model changes and new application requirements. As stated in the OPPAGGA report, "Efficient purchasing and warehousing requires that management processes be in place to ensure that supplies, equipment, and services vital to the school's education mission are purchased from a competitive source, in the right quantity, delivered timely to the correct location, and stored in a secure location. These criteria should be met for each purchase without sacrificing quality."

The quarterly review ensures the district is receiving maximum value on product and services during the term of the original contract signed by the School Board in May 2006.

The report to the board provides accountability for monitoring the contract and the negotiated benefits.
