APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 - $9,108.79 EXTRA / 150 CALENDAR DAY TIME EXTENSION

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the engineering firm of Hahn Engineering, Inc. On March 14, 2006, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Air Mechanical & Service Corp. The scope of work provides for the replacement of mechanical system components, including the chillers and air handlers.

This change order provides for the replacement of three existing failed duct heaters in the cafeteria, new electrical connections for one existing heater, exterior lighting controls, and controls for a hot water pump. A time extension is included for completion of the work, and to resolve unforeseen problems with test and balance of the system.
