This project was planned by the architectural firm of Alfonso Architects, Inc. On March 12, 2002, the Board appointed the construction management firm of J.O. DeLotto & Sons, Inc. The scope of work included construction of a new K-8 school to house 1226 students.

This change order provides credits for final reconciliation of the Owner Controlled Insurance Program and the return of unused contingency funds. It also provides for Washington Street modifications, City of Tampa requested parking changes, impact resistant fire glazing, substitution of magnolia trees with crape myrtle trees on Jackson Street, parking meter revenue loss, concrete playcourt elevation changes, underground storm rain leaders in lieu of exposed downspout, corridor slab revisions, relocation of electric projection screen in Media Center, and Construction Management fees for the project changes.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2003 and Community Investment Tax.
