Approve Agreements for Technical Service for Facilitators for the Professional Educator Courses through Teacher Training, Staff Development (Information and Technology Division)

The District is committed to providing quality training for teachers. Facilitators will plan, conduct, and evaluate the Professional Educator Courses from May 29 through June 30, 2007.

The Professional Educator Courses include Cooperative Discipline, Clinical Educator Classroom Management, Building Communication and Teamwork in the Classroom, New Teacher Orientation train the trainer, Preparing New Educators Support Team, and Test-Prep Middle School Math Middle Grades.

Agreements for Technical Service have been prepared for the attached list of training facilitators. In order to effectively provide training, permission is requested to add and delete facilitators as needed, not to exceed the budgeted amount of $15,000.00.

All District Goals and Critical Success Factors

Funds in the amount of $15,000 are included in the Staff Development budget, Project 4503.

The evaluations are completed at the conclusion of each training. The results of the evaluation will be captured through the Professional Development System.
