EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On October 10, 2006 the Board approved Purchase and Sale Agreements for 9.80 +/- acres with Stephen Glaros and 34.29 +/- acres with Joseph Newsome and Barbara Newsome McIntosh and on March 13, 2007 for 1.39 +/- acres (with single family residence) with Sandra K. Martin and 56.81 +/- acres with the Griffin Family Limited Partnership. All four properties are located on Newsome, McIntosh and Gallagher Roads in the Plant City area and are either contiguous to or adjacent to each other in order to develop the three school campus.
The original closing date for all these Agreements is May 24, 2007, with each contract contingent upon the District receiving all County permits and approvals for use as a school site. Submissions for these permits and approvals have been made to the appropriate government agencies, but the initial Zoning Hearing Master meeting is not scheduled until May 30, 2007, which is past the original intended closing date. Staff is requesting that the Board approve the extension of the closing date on all four Agreements to July 25, 2007 in order to receive all required governmental approvals.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
There is no additional financial impact to the District beyond approved original purchase price of $1,030,000 for the Glaros parcel; $3,770,000 for the Newsome/McIntosh parcel; $195,000 for the Martin parcel; and $5,795,000 for the Griffin parcel.
