Approve Agreement for the Transfer of School Bus to Learning Gate Charter School

Hillsborough County Public Schools will support Learning Gate by allowing the Charter School to use one bus, identified in the agreement, for the sole purpose of transporting students. The Charter School will be responsible for all costs associated with the operation, upkeep, maintenance and repair of the bus. Learning Gate will return the bus to the Board upon the termination of this agreement in the condition in which it was received except for normal wear and aging.

The school bus is a surplus bus scheduled for auction. Upon return of District property, the bus will be auctioned by the approved vendor. Earnings will be returned to the District.
