SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The District has participated in CO&DS bond issues since 1998. A portion of funds remain in the 1998 ($856,951) and 1999A ($172,287.44) issues. It is recommended that these funds be used to partially fund the current construction project at Tinker Elementary School.
The Tinker construction project is currently funded with $4,830,000 from the Community Investment Tax (CIT) and $1,145,000 from CO&DS Bonds 2005A. Approval of these amendments will release $1,029,238.44 in CIT funds for other projects.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The two bond sales represent $67,115,000 in construction revenue to the District.
Allocating remaining funds in the amount of $1,029,238.44 to Tinker Elementary will release CIT funds for other projects and close CO&DS 1998 and 1999A accounts. There is no increase in the Tinker construction budget.
