EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
USF mathematicians and district expert teachers will collaborate to design appropriate staff development components, deliver facilitator training to teachers who will provide the training to district teachers, and assist in mathematics training and follow-up to approximately 1,000 district K-12 teachers.
Dr. Gladis Kersaint, Associate Professor of Mathematics Education, K-12, USF, will act as the evaluator for the grant. A formative and summative evaluation is planned. Formative evaluations intend to collect data about educational products while they are still being developed, assist in the product development, and provide feedback to project personnel for program improvement.
