This project is being planned by the engineering firm of EMK Consultants of Florida, Inc. The scope of work provides for playcourt improvements at Adams Middle School, Clair Mel Elementary School, Greco Middle School, Jefferson High School, Leto High School, McLane Middle School, Pizzo Elementary School, Shaw Elementary School, and Town n' Country Elementary School.

The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Award of the project to the low bidder, Jenasis Structures, Inc., is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for October 22, 2007.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

Total funds in the amount of $941,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $941,000.
