Approve School Bus Lease Agreement for Day Care Centers
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Each year the Transportation Department conducts a review of current day care center agreements. A determination is made if the current agreement has a negative affect on busing networks. If there is not a substantial affect, an agreement is initiated for transportation services. Attached are contracts with Day Care facilities to lease school buses to transport their students from the local school to their facility from August 20, 2007, through June 4, 2008. There is no impact to current school bus networking and their schedules.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
This item has no monetary impact to the District. The Day Care facility will be responsible for reimbursement to the District at the rate of $1.75 per mile and salary and benefits of the bus driver at the rate of $30.00 per hour.
