Recognition of School Attendance Incentive Program Award Winners (Curriculum and Instruction Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We are pleased to recognize thirty-seven schools and two area directors for their outstanding achievement in maintaining high attendance percentages for the 2006/2007 school year. In addition, we will recognize three students for achieving thirteen years of perfect attendance in Grades K through 12.

Seven years ago, Deputy Superintendent Beth Shields initiated an attendance incentive program for schools that meet or exceed the district goal of 96% attendance annually.

We are very proud of the accomplishment of all of our schools and students.
