This project was planned by the architectural firm of The Architectural Practice, Inc. On May 16, 2006, the Board awarded the contract for construction management services to Ellis Construction Company, Inc. The scope of work provides for a new 720 student station elementary school.

This change order provides landscaping at Buildings 2 and 3, split grab bars in student toilets to provide accessibility, air transfer duct installations in Building 1, walkway light fixture upgrade at Building 1, installation of 115 volt power for chiller heaters in Building 6, power supply to 6 DX type air conditioning units, TV cable relocation, repainting of roof hatch guard rails, revisions to landscaping and irrigation installations, additional heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) components and wall penetrations necessitated by code requirements, and relocation of fire line risers in Building 3. A credit is included for deletion of exterior intercom handset in Building 4, Room 400.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2004C, Classrooms for Kids 2005, and School Infrastructure Thrift Award (SIT).
