Approve Paper Reduction Report to State

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The legislation to reduce paperwork and data collection by teachers requires a report to the State Board of Education each year. Nebi Bakare, a teacher at Robles Elementary, served this past year as our district appointed teacher representative for paperwork and data collection reduction. Ms. Bakare will be unable to attend the School Board meeting. Jean Clements, President of the Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association, will present the report.

The financial impact will be realized with reduction of paper and forms.

EVALUATION

All activities and steps to reduce paperwork will be compiled for the year 2007-2008 and reported to the Board prior to September 1, 2008.
