Approve Articulation Agreement for Tech Prep Consortia: Pasco-Hernando, Hillsborough, Sarasota, Manatee, and Pinellas Counties, 2005-2006 (Technical and Career Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
For the past year, the Pasco-Hernando, Hillsborough, Sarasota-Manatee, and Pinellas County Tech Prep Consortia have been working collaboratively to develop a Tech Prep Consortia Articulation Agreement whereby Tech Prep students completing a high school Tech Prep program or graduating from the adult technical centers can take advantage of articulation agreements in the county of their choice. As an example, students from Erwin Technical Center’s Commercial Foods program will have the option of attending other postsecondary education programs based upon their geographical locations and choice without duplicating coursework already completed. Through this agreement, there are approximately 300 different articulation opportunities.

The Tech Prep Articulation Agreement has no additional cost to the district.
