EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Ranon & Partners, Inc. On March 12, 2002, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Mathews Construction. The scope of work provides for computer and electrical upgrades, and new HVAC, sound, intercom, fire sprinkler, security, and alarm systems. New door hardware, signage, marker boards and tack boards, toilet partitions and accessories will be provided campus-wide. The flooring, doors, lockers, concrete walks, ceiling tiles, cabinets, gym bleachers, lighting, roofing, and plumbing fixtures will be repaired and/or replaced as needed. Athletic field lighting is being replaced with expanded electrical service. The exterior walls will be painted and brickwork cleaned and sealed throughout the facility.
This change order provides for gypsum wallboard and acoustical panels in the Band and Choral room, code deficient electrical repairs, additional auditorium speaker, removal of carpet mastic to accommodate new auditorium seating, and replacement of termite-damaged auditorium stage flooring and steps, air handler ductwork, and chilled water transmitter. It also provides credits for scratched wood doors previously accepted by the school and deletion of wheelchair lift in auditorium.
