This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Carastro & Associates, Inc. The scope of work provides for fire alarm and intercom replacement. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Alarm & Communication Systems, Inc., is recommended. The starting date will be July 18, 2005, with a projected completion date of August 1, 2005.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

Total funds in the amount of $200,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance. The bid amount is $122,930.
