Approval of the Superintendent's Contract

This is the original contract for Superintendent MaryEllen Elia. It is a three year contract, with provisions for termination for cause or, upon notice, at the end of each contract year. The agreement sets forth the duties and obligations of the Superintendent, and for annual evaluations of the Superintendent’s performance. The agreement provides a payment and compensation package which includes: (1) base compensation and the opportunity to earn additional bonuses through the achievement of stated goals: (2) coverage under a long-term disability policy; (3) a life insurance policy; (4) a death benefit consisting of unused accrued sick and vacation days; and (5) a retirement plan.

The salary is budgeted.
