District Progress Report: District Collaboration with Children's Future Hillsborough for Early Childhood Screening and Intervention Services for At-Risk Children
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Children's Future Hillsborough (CFH) is a network of organizations whose mission is to meet the needs of children through a network of care founded on family and community partnerships. Early childhood services and support focus on prevention and early intervention. CFH partners with families and other community agencies to deliver services that are individualized, family driven, and culturally competent to positively impact healthy births, school readiness, and early school success.
This report highlights the collaboration between community partners to bring free comprehensive early childhood screening services for at-risk children from birth to age five.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Goal 5. The district will close the FCAT achievement gap by a minimum of 10 percentage points as reported by No Child Left Behind.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
Children's Future Hillsborough is totally funded by the The Children's Board of Hillsborough County. This agenda item has no additional cost to the District.
