Recognition of Hillsborough County Public Schools "Create A Cover" Contest Winners for the 2010 Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! (Middle School Education)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Middle and high school intensive reading students were invited to participate in the "Create A Cover" contest sponsored by the Middle and Secondary Reading Department, the Office of Staff Development Technology Training and Support cadre, and the Tech4Learning software company. The contest required students to read one of the 2009/2010 Sunshine State Readers or Teen Reads books and create a book cover depicting the theme and plot of the story using ImageBlender software.

Tech4Learning provided prizes for each award winner. A list of winners is attached.
